Scheduled orthopedics are available 2-3 days a week.  The majority of TTA/ TPLO/ Patellar Luxations are scheduled on Monday or Thursday.  If you dog has not been referred in by your Veterinarian, or not seen in the last month, a pre-op exam is necessary.  This can by done on  the morning of presumed surgery then you pet can stay for the procedure.  Dr. Katie also sees appointments Wednesday evening and can hold your dog overnight for surgery on Thursday, and discharge on Friday.

Appointments can be scheduled in Faribault 507-332-0716 by talking with our receptionist or with more detailed questions with Lynn and Allyssa our orthopedic technicians.  Consult appointments are available Wednesday mornings in Owatonna at 507-214-7387.  We make every attempt to accomodate your needs and will make sure your dog is treated like family.

Pre-op Surgery Instructions:  You will be asked to provide proof of current vaccines, copies of medical records and medications.  Any Radiographs taken by your Veterinarian may be helpful to review at the initial consult appointment.  We require pre-op bloodwork and can perform  in house if not done ahead of time by your veterinarian.  When possible we would like all dogs off their NSAIDS such as Rimadyl or Deramaxx 2 days prior to surgery.
